Planning, management, execution, and finalization of transfer pricing audits in the primary and secondary sectors of the Namibian economy.
Qualification
- Minimum QualificationA Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Law or Economics (NQF Level 7).
Added Advantage: An Honours Degree in Taxation.
Experience
- Minimum ExperienceCompletion of audit articles with 3 years post-audit article experience or (5) years relevant experience in an audit firm tax environment with (3) years at supervisory level. Demonstrated experience in the primary and secondary sectors.
Skills
- Understanding of Namibia’s transfer pricing laws, including OECD transfer pricing guidelines.
- Understanding of international tax principles, double taxation treaties, and the implications of cross-border transactions.
- Ability to manage transfer pricing audits, including coordinating resources, timelines, and deliverables.
- Demonstrated solid auditing experience.
- Clear, concise, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, verbally and in writing.
- Strong negotiation and research skills and planning and organising abilities.
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transfer pricing cases simultaneously.
- Hands on with strong people management skills.
- Strong innovation skills to improve systems, processes, and procedures.
- Openness to continuous learning and adapting to changes in international tax laws, regulations, and standards.
