To oversee and manage the activities and functions related to border control and operational compliance within the Department of Customs and Excise.
Qualification
- Minimum QualificationA Master’s Degree in Customs Administration / International Trade / Business Administration / Commerce and Law (NQF Level 9).
Experience
- Minimum ExperienceTen (10) years relevant experience with seven (7) years at management level. Added Advantage: Proven experience in leadership, team management, communication, border control, security, or related fields.
Skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective strategies to enhance operational compliance and security.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with government agencies and law enforcement.
- Knowledge of international border control best practices.
- Able to conduct research.
