1. Assistant Tax Officer Audit
• Execute audits as allocated.
• Prepare audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed.
• Enforce tax laws when non-compliance in filling is detected.
2. Assistant Tax Officer Filing, Compliance, Enforcement, and Processing
• Enforce tax laws when non-compliance in filling is detected.
• Capturing of payment plans of taxpayers on ITAS.
• Perform and liaise with taxpayers on outstanding tax balances and returns.
3. Assistant Tax Officer Refund Verification
• Verify taxpayers documents to ensure correct refunds are paid.
• Liaise with taxpayers on outstanding documentation needed for verification.
4. Assistant Tax Officer Debt Management
• Capturing of payment plans of taxpayers on ITAS.
• Perform and liaise with taxpayers on outstanding tax balances.
5. Assistant Tax Officer Registration
• Execute audits as allocated.
• Enforce tax laws when non-compliance in filling is detected.
• Execute job-related tasks as delegated.
6. Administrative Officer
• Registration and de-registration of taxpayers.
• Receiving, scanning, and archiving all documents received from taxpayers.
• Assist taxpayers to register as portal users.
• Execute job-related tasks delegated to him/ her.
Qualification
- Minimum QualificationDegree/Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce or relevant qualification or Gr 12.
Experience
- Minimum ExperienceThree (3) years’ experience for a Degree/Diploma.
OR
Five (5) years’ experience in Domestic Taxes for Grade 12.
